What does NordSourced do when a fact is wrong, or a manufacturer wants to leave?
A wrong fact is corrected or taken off the profile, and the change is logged below with its date. A manufacturer that does not want to be listed can leave. A manufacturer that disagrees with its place in a list sends a document: the place comes from one published formula, so it changes when the fact behind it does, and never because a company asked or paid.
So far
- Facts corrected: 0
- Companies removed at their own request: 1
- Companies removed after our own review: 11
How we handle each kind of request
- A fact is wrong. We correct it, or take it off the profile, once the manufacturer’s own page or a document shows the right fact, and log the change here with its date.
- The facts are right, but the company does not want to be listed. We remove its profile and its places in every list when it asks from the company’s own address. A company removed this way is not named here.
- The company disagrees with its rank. That is no reason to remove it. The rank comes from the published formula; a document showing a minimum order, a lead time or a valid certificate changes the score the same way it would for anyone else.
- Advertising. NordSourced sells no advertising today, and will not offer it to a company while a request about its profile is open.
Log
| Date | What changed | Companies | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 Oct 2026 | Removed at the company's request | 1 | A company asked to be removed after our profile notice. Its website does not offer making products for other brands: the sentences we had taken as proof came from its article explaining what white label means. Removed the same day. |
| 2 Oct 2026 | Removed after our own review | 11 | After that request we re-read the proof of every listed company. For 11, no sentence on their own website says they make products for other brands (furniture or concrete made to order for their own customers, interior and hotel furnishing, own-brand lighting and skincare, industrial steel work). Removed. |
